Hello, and welcome!
I began Tap at age 16, and have been making noise with my feet ever since.
For more than 20 years, I’ve made a career as Tap Dance performer, choreographer and educator. I’ve traveled the world, and have shared the love of this art-form with thousands of remarkable people.
I also enjoy photography, writing, coffee, music, movies, dogs and pretty much everything else.
…but I have yet to find an activity more enjoyable or satisfying to the body or the mind than the art of tap dance.
Hi, I’m Tiarna!
I began Tap at age 2 (along with many other forms of dance), and basically haven’t stopped.
I graduated from ED5 International (Sydney) with a Diploma in Musical Theater and have spent many years as a performer & teacher, specializing primarily in Tap.
I love choreography, and am currently exploring my own work in the styles of Tap and Theater Jazz.
Outside of dance, my many loves include long walks in nature, yoga, making friends with animals, any kind of game night and being a life-long Taylor Swift fan (AKA, ‘Swiftie’).
Taptopia was created to share the magic of tap dance — and to help people around the world build confidence, skill, and a lasting relationship with the art form.
Every day, we support our community to discover (or rediscover) joy through tap dance.
