Administrative Assistant – Seeking expressions of interest.

We’re looking for a happy, motivated and proactive administrative assistant to join a small team within an established, growing tap dance education business.

‘Just TAP’ and ‘Taptopia’

Our aim is share the art of tap dance with people across the world, and to foster connection and community between these people.

‘Just TAP’ is a series of video courses that teach people how to tap dance from home. ‘Taptopia’ is our membership community, offering ongoing support, accountability and video-learning for our members as they continue their tap dance journey (we’re one year in, currently at just over 100 members).

We thrive on happiness and positivity in our business, and strive to offer this to our customers, students and members, through all of our products, communications and direct interactions.

We seek to grow and expand our offering with new products, more education experiences and opportunities for community connection.

The Position

Currently, almost all of the administrative work is being done by Bill, the business owner. We’d like someone to come on board to help with this work, so Bill can focus sustainably on product development and education work.

It’s important to us that this person cares about tap dance.

It’s also important to us that this person has a natural affinity and enjoyment for any or all of the following:

• • Behind the scenes organization and administration
  • Customer service & communication
  • Community
  • Finance management

There are numerous back-end platforms we use (knowledge of these isn’t crucial, but please make note of experience with any):

• ConvertKit (Email management)
• Circle (Community hosting)
• Stripe (Payments)
• Gumroad (Course Sales)
• WordPress (Website Development)
• Zapier (tieing it all together)

Other useful skills or areas of interest (let us know if these apply to you):

• Video Production & Editing
• Audio Production & Editing
• Graphic Design

The position is flexible and non-location specific, however we’re ideally seeking someone in or near Australia / Asia / Oceania, in order to sync time-zones as much as possible (we’re based in Melbourne). We’ll start small to begin with – likely 3-5 hours per week – with the goal of ramping up over time.
