This community group is a safe, supportive space for all, regardless of age, background, race, gender-identity, sexual orientation or religion.
By joining Taptopia, members agree to treat all others with kindness and respect (friendly debates = good, constructive suggestions = good, personal attacks = not good, deliberately offensive comments = not good). Any comments or behavior that goes against this will not be tolerated.
Should this occur, we may choose to remove members from the group.
Please report any such behavior immediately to the community admins (Tiarna or Bill).
Aside from the above, group members are invited and encouraged to post, comment and interact as they please.
We are committed to providing a safe, private space for all our
members. Your information will never be shared without your permission.
What happens in the group stays in the group: Taptopia is a private member-only space, and as such, any content (including
images and video) or comments made by the community admins or fellow Taptopians are to remain confidential, and are not to be shared outside the community (including after the ceasing of membership).
Zoom Recordings: Please note that Zoom events (including community calls and classes) will be recorded and shared within the group (and aside from ‘promotional
snippets’ (see below) never outside the group without your permission). If you don’t wish to be seen on these videos, please keep your camera switched off during the calls or advise the community admins.
Promotional Snippets:
Occasionally, we may take a snippet of a video or a comment to share outside of the community for the purpose of demonstrating the group to potential members. If you would not like to be seen in any promotional content, please send a message to the community admins to let us know.
We recommend seeking advice from a registered health professional before undertaking any of the exercises or movements presented in live or pre-recorded classes within Taptopia. Ensure you are adequately ‘warm’ before attempting any jumping, turning or other strenuous movement. Should you experience any pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or other symptom, please discontinue the exercise immediately and consult a health professional.
Ensure you have adequate space, be mindful of your dance surface (wood painted matte-black is recommended – see other recommended options here), never dance directly on concrete, and always be aware of your surroundings (including pets!).
By continuing to take part in Taptopia, you agree to abide by the above community guidelines and privacy policy, and agree to relieve and indemnify the creators of Taptopia – including guest teachers or contributors – for any injury or damage caused by attempting any movement presented.
All payments are made in advance. A reminder email will be sent prior to each payment being deducted. We allow a 2-week grace period for failed payments, at which point unpaid members are
automatically removed from the community. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you’re having trouble making your Taptopia payment or need a little extra time, and we’ll be happy to work something out.
Please note: There are no refunds on Taptopia payments. Payments are not-transferable between members or other offerings from Just TAP.
